This policy explains how Pulse & Pine (a trading name of Suraj Singh, 88 Oxbarn Avenue, Wolverhampton, WV3 7HG) uses your personal information. I'm the data controller. You can contact me at contact@pulseandpine.co.uk.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, delivery address, email address and phone number (if you give one), and what you ordered.
- When you pay: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- When you email us: your email address and what you tell us.
- When you ask for our free guide: your email address, the time you signed up and the fact that you ticked the consent box.
Why we use it
- To take payment, send your order and deal with any delivery, return or refund. This is needed to carry out our contract with you.
- To keep records for tax and accounting. This is a legal obligation.
- To reply to your messages. This is in our legitimate interest.
- To send you the free Vitamins & Minerals Guide and, only if you ticked the box, occasional emails about Pulse & Pine products and offers. This is based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to any email or by writing to us, and we will stop.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We keep sign-up details until you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share only what's needed with: Stripe (payment processing), Royal Mail or another delivery carrier (to deliver your order) and our website hosting and form provider (Netlify), and, if we send you emails, our email service provider. We don't sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for 6 years for tax and accounting purposes. Other information is deleted when it's no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email us to do this. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
